Spring is on the horizon and it’s time to throw open our windows and clear out our cupboards; but what to do with all that stuff!?! We have a solution...
The annual Integrate charity shop event on George Street runs from the 18th to the 23rd of April this year and we're looking for donations of clean clothes, shoes, toys, books, jewelry, soft furnishings, crockery, pictures, ornaments, DVDs, CD’s, games, bedding, curtains and baby equipment.
But where do I bring the stuff?
You can drop your donations of at the City Church building (49 Gilcomston Park - the lower front door beneath the main one) on the following dates
Saturday 2nd April 10am - 12pm
Monday 4th April 10am - 3pm
Thursday 7th April 10am - 4pm or 6pm - 8pm
Monday 11th April 10am - 3pm
Thursday 14th April 10am - 3pm or 6pm - 8pm
Dropping stuff off to Gilcomston Park is much easier for us - however - there will also be a collection at each of the City Church Sites. Speak to your site pastor for more details.
What about furniture and electrical items?
This year, we will NOT be selling furniture or electrical items in the shop as the space is not big enough HOWEVER, we do have a Facebook page which we can sell these items through - you just have to take a picture of your items and upload them to the Facebook page - then if someone wishes to buy your item, the page administrators (Lisa and Graeme McColl or Brenda Robertson from the Stonehaven site) will get in touch with you to arrange a suitable collection time. These items will be sold and paid for on the Facebook page via PayPal with all money going straight towards the work of Integrate. Could we be really bold and ask you to speak to your friends, family and work colleagues about this amazing ministry and encourage them also to embark upon a spring clean!!!
The earlier we receive donations, the more time we will have to organise and price everything - allowing us to run the shop as efficiently as possible and maximise takings (which is important because we only have it for one week!!)
