/// Integrate Marches in the AUSA Torcher Parade Comeback

October 24, 2017

The historic Aberdeen parade returned to streets this year, after the last event was cancelled.

Aberdeen University Students’ Association (AUSA) organised the hugely popular Torcher parade which has played an important part in Aberdeen’s history and helped their Raising and Giving campaign to raise thousands of pounds for local charities.

This year, AUSA has pledged financial support to Integrate to help cover some of the cost of our Drop-In Centre.

"We had a blast at the parade! There was great buzz and the volunteers all really enjoyed the opportunity! Thanks so much to all of the member of the public who turned out to support local charities and to Dave Smith, Alan Docherty and The Purdie family who carried the torch (and flag!) for Integrate."
